What equipment have we made for scientists?

PTFE reactors for photochemical research. Project carried out for Instytut Fotonowy Sp z o.o.

Cryogenic measurement system operating in ultra-high vacuum (UHV). We took part in building spectroscopy apparatus for researchers from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.
Cryogenic measurement system for spectroscopy
Strain gauge holder for measuring forces acting in three-dimensional space. We measure forces in 3 directions and rotation in one axis, 4 DOF.
4DOF strain gauge holder
Motorised traverse for examining large objects with a microscope or other measuring devices. It offers precise travel in 3 directions (XYZ) and rotation of the A head, controlled by an electronic MPG pulse generator.

Cryogenic fittings for work in ultra-high vacuum. Connections sealed with indium wire and bolted with vented screws calculated together with invar washers to compensate for thermal expansion.

Do you make single, non-standard laboratory devices?

Yes, that is our speciality. Most of our projects are one-off devices designed for a specific experiment or research station.

Can you extend existing laboratory equipment?

Yes. We design holders, attachments and extensions for existing devices, tailored to the needs of a specific experiment.

What does designing equipment for an experiment look like?

We start by discussing the goal of the experiment and the constraints of the setup. Then our design engineers develop the concept and documentation, and once approved we manufacture and test the equipment. A concept is enough, we take care of the technical documentation.

What laboratory equipment do you make most often?

Among others: vacuum fittings, illuminators, reactors, translation stages, incubators and heating cabinets, plus holders and attachments for existing devices.
